Well this isn't about Bible verses, but I just wanted to discuss signs and evidence of everything larger than us. When I visited New York in early 2008, our tour guide took us to St. Paul's Chapel near ground zero. He told us that every building, within a few blocks of the towers, window's shattered. St. Paul's Chapel remained undamaged. Later, he took us to a cross on the side of a building near ground zero. The story behind it was that a t-beam of steel was found on top of the rubble after the towers fell. The steel beams fell in the shape of a cross. He also pointed to a piece of metal on the cross and stated that it was a fireman's jacket that got heated to such extremities that became that material, now I don't know if he was making that up or not. But the fact is that a Church recieved no damage what so ever and that a cross was found amidst chaos. What more obvious evidence can you present?

ReplyDeleteThat sounds like a word of faith teacher/believer. The word of faith movement believes that what you say is so powerful that it can heal people or bring people back from the dead. The healing services that these false teachers have claim to be healing people, but people are only healed by their so called 'backaches' or 'headaches' that they claim to have (or very well could just be making up). If they could heal anybody, or bring people back from the dead, then why have we never heard of somebody who was bald grow hair, or somebody who doesn't have an arm suddenly grow an arm after their healing services.
The word of faith teachers also teach that if you become sick you have brought that upon yourself by thinking negative toughts. In an interview with a word of faith teacher, Larry King asked him if he thought the little girl that was brutally murdered and raped in Florida brought that upon herself and he answered, "Everybody brings everything upon themselves, no exceptions". They also say that if you have cancer, not to seek medical treatment but to believe that you can get rid of the cancer and it will leave your body. A lady who had cancer did exactly what the word of faith teachers told her to do and she did not seek medical treatment until it was too late. She died 3 months after she went to the doctors and they told her family she come earlier they could have gotten rid of it.
It also sounds as if this authors story was true, you would've probably heard the story all over the news not only in the book he sells for profit.
