Okay, this is one of my favorite passages and I think it can lead to a great discussion. In Matthew 7:13-14 Jesus who was the Christ says:

"Enter by the narrow gate; for wide is the gate and broad is the way that leads to destruction, and there are many who go in by it. Because narrow is the gate and difficult is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it"

When we read the words of the Messiah in the Bible we have to realize what the reality of the situation is. The creator of the universe, in human form, is looking you in the eyes and telling you what life is all about. The more and more I study the word of God, I realize that it is beyond human and that there is something very special about the Bible. With that being said, lets humbly look Him in the eyes and listen to what God has to say to us.

"The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. But if your eye is bad your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness" Matthew 6:22-23

I just wanted to throw out a challenging question and see if we had any takers. My question is who does the Bible say God is? How do we describe the nature and character of God? I think that this one is going to take a lot of research. Lets make sure that we use Biblical proof to back up our answers. Click on the comments link to add your answer and start discussing.

What was Jesus saying when He said, "Come to Me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."

Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV

- Some things to think about while were discussing is what is a Yoke?
